The music festival of cultural units Dist. 6 on 8th to celebrate the 32nd anniversary on the South was completely liberalized, the unification of the country (30/4/1975 - 30/4/2007), the International Labor Day 1/5 and the celebration of 117 years from as President Ho Chi Minh was dead (19/5/1890 - 19/5/2007) had taken place from 23-26/4/2007. The awarding night will be held at 8:00 pm, on 30/4/2007 at Cultural Center Dist. 6 (Phu Lam Park), 170 Kinh Duong Vuong St., Ward 13, Dist. 6.

The night consisted of 17 cultural units from 14 wards and 3 units in district: Bookstore Nguyen Van Cu, Phu Lam market, and Industrial Commercial Bank, branch in Dist. 6. Before joining in the district’s festival, every unit had held a contest to enrich the cultural life at there, at the same time; they will select special items for participation in the festival. With contents as: the praise of Party - Uncle Ho, Hero Vietnamese mothers; song about the homeland along with kinds of: single, double, group, dance, chorus, etc. The festival was funded by SoundMax.
