Starting from July, 2007, the citizens has again had the opportunity to enjoy live sounds of the blare, the funny melodies of flamenco music, or lyric folk-song tracks...through the performance in a concert of bands, music team from the Cultural centers of the city. The program will take place on Sunday morning weekly before the City Theater, from 8:30 to 9:30. The program was implemented under the funding of the SoundMax Company.

At 8:00 pm, on 28/6/2007, the "fan club" of Rock has again had the opportunity to enjoy melodies in full of passion in “Golden Fish Rock” with the "engrossed" participation of bands: Father God, Titanium, Winfield, Tran Vu Ha My, and Maxich band. It is known that the program will be held periodically in Thursday of the second and fourth week of the month at the Golden Fish music stadium (105 Tran Hung Dao, District 5). Especially, viewers will also be participating in live games to receive the valuable gifts from SoundMax sponsor.

At 5:30 pm, on 10/6/2007, the second birthday of Ledmobile.net Forum had taken place in the warm and friendly atmosphere with the participation of members come from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces. Guests were representatives from mobile phone and other distributors in Ho Chi Minh City. In the meeting, Mr. Le Duy who was the founder and also was administrator of Forum had rewarded and thanked those members who had contributed positively to the forum, and he had also introduced members in the board of new administration.

On the 20th anniversary of an establishment of The children’s house District 6 (1987 - 2007), they had hold many meaningful activities to celebrate this significant event: “Exhibition of images during 20 years of operation”, “The contest of children singing”, “The contest of an excellent team leader”, “The contest of propaganda children”, etc. Especially, the meeting at 7:00 pm, on 15/05/2007, at the stage of The children’s house in which the generation of Director and team Council Chairman during periods had a chance to crowd together and review last memories throughout 20 years of devotion to this house.

In order to improve the leadership’s role along with providing additional knowledge for the middle management class in the period of international economic integration, Soundmax company had opened training courses for all deputy and managers with the contents: “Management methods and leadership technology”, “WTO - opportunities and challenges”,…at 9:00 am, on 13/05/2007. An expected training time was about 5 times (on every Sunday).

At 6:00 pm, on 5/5/2007, at Ben Thanh Theater, the festival “Top ten of interschool teacher’s singing on 3rd quarter, 2007” had taken place the final night to sort out highest record candidates who will be participated in the ranking night on 1/7/2007. The candidate was teachers from the English language school in Ho Chi Minh City, including: Outspace Language, Premier English, Leecam International English Communication, Superchild Language, London English, North-America International Education Elementary School, North-America International Education Secondary School.

The music festival of cultural units Dist. 6 on 8th to celebrate the 32nd anniversary on the South was completely liberalized, the unification of the country (30/4/1975 - 30/4/2007), the International Labor Day 1/5 and the celebration of 117 years from as President Ho Chi Minh was dead (19/5/1890 - 19/5/2007) had taken place from 23-26/4/2007. The awarding night will be held at 8:00 pm, on 30/4/2007 at Cultural Center Dist. 6 (Phu Lam Park), 170 Kinh Duong Vuong St., Ward 13, Dist. 6.

Green Wishes (GW) was a group of volunteers serving the community in HCMC. It was born from September, 2002 under the support of Youth Newspaper. “My bookcase” was a new project of GW with the aim of building a bookcase with selected contents and was implemented in some of loving homes in Ho Chi Minh City.
