On the evening 24/11, at the Cultural Center District 6 was happened the opening of festival of the public music of HCMC educated hamlet - group 2, 3rd 2008 (including: District 4, District 6, District 8, Go Vap District, Phu Nhuan District, Binh Thanh District, and Tan Phu District) which organized by HCMC Cultural Center along with Department of Culture - Sport – Tourism and Committee of the Fatherland Front of Vietnam in HCM City.

Festival took place continuously from 22 to 29/11 in 4 groups in area of the city with the participation of thousand of singers and public actors who come from 24 districts. The festival of summarization, awarding and showing the best performances of the festival will be held at the Cultural Center District on 5:00 p.m on 3/12/2008.
